The mission of JOIE Magazine is to create a thriving cultural publication. A
large percentage of the women we surveyed in 2001 said that in their opinion
women were "grossly" misrepresented in the media and that "women are always used
as a target and/or object for mass appeal." Therefore as women the
responsibility is ours to feature women of all shades and body types in a
cutting edge publication that is run from the
bare feet girls ground up by women, dealing with
issues of interest to women over 30 including but not limited to sexuality,
finances and spiritual well-being with an arts and leisure slant. JOIE Magazine
has been created to do just that. No tobacco, no alcohol and no female
degredation...PERIOD!
